No referral is needed for a private physiotherapy appointment at Bridge Road Physiotherapy. You can book directly online or by phone. A referral is only required for specific funding arrangements, such as a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your GP.
Yes. Bridge Road Physiotherapy uses Tyro Health, so eligible private health fund rebates are claimed instantly through the EFTPOS terminal at the time of your appointment. You only pay the gap.

- No paperwork: no separate claim form or waiting for a refund.
Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans are accepted with a valid GP referral. WorkCover and TAC claims are not currently accepted at Bridge Road Physiotherapy.

Yes. Telehealth video consultations are available for follow-ups, exercise programming and ongoing rehab support, wherever you are. The first appointment is best done in person at Bridge Road where possible, for an accurate hands-on assessment.
Metered and time-limited street parking is available on and around Bridge Road, Richmond, near the clinic. Spaces can fill quickly at peak times, so public transport is often the easier option.

- Football and team sport: acute and overuse injuries, with return-to-play criteria before clearance.
Bridge Road Physiotherapy assesses running-related pain including shin, knee, calf and Achilles problems, and builds a return-to-running plan based on training load and capacity, for runners from a first 5km to marathon distance.
