About Bridge Road Physiotherapy
A small Richmond physio practice built around clear assessment, practical rehab and one-on-one care.

Thihan Chandramohan
I'm a physiotherapist with a background in high-performance sport, including professional cricket. The work is simple to describe and hard to do well: understand the problem, build the person back properly, and avoid wasting time on things that only look useful.
Bridge Road Physiotherapy brings that thinking to Richmond locals, active adults, runners, gym-goers and people who want to keep moving.

Clinical background
I'm an AHPRA registered physiotherapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, including over 15 years working in elite sport.
My background includes professional and international cricket, AFL environments, sports injury rehabilitation, return-to-play planning and gym-based rehab.
Bridge Road Physiotherapy brings that experience into a small Richmond clinic. The aim is simple: assess properly, explain clearly, and help you get back to the things you care about.

Why this clinic exists
Most people who get hurt do not need a gadget, a vague diagnosis or a long course of passive treatment. They need an accurate read on what is going on, a plan that builds capacity, and someone who explains it without jargon.
Being inside a gym is not a marketing line. Real rehab often needs load, space and equipment. When the fix for your knee, back, calf or shoulder involves getting stronger under load, the right environment matters.
How I work with you
- I assess properly before I treat. The first session is mostly listening and testing.
- I explain what I think is going on, in plain terms, and what I am less sure about.
- We agree on a plan with a clear goal and a rough timeline.
- Most of the work happens between sessions. I make that work specific and doable.
- We adjust as the picture changes. Rehab is rarely a straight line.
Part of Richmond
The clinic sits on Bridge Road, among the people it serves: locals who run the Yarra, lift at Uplift, ride to work and want to keep doing the things that make life feel normal.
Small on purpose. One physio, one plan, no handovers.
