What we treat

Common reasons people come in. The thinking is the same across all of them: find the problem, build capacity, and get you back to the activity.

Sports injuries

Common problems. Acute and overuse injuries from team and individual sport: hamstring strains, ankle sprains, shoulder and knee problems, tendon issues.

How treatment works. We diagnose the injury, settle the irritable phase if needed, then rebuild strength and capacity specific to your sport before return.

What to expect
A clear diagnosis, staged plan and return-to-sport criteria.
Who it suits
Club and recreational athletes who want to return properly.

Cricket injuries

Common problems. Hamstring and side strains, lower back pain and bone stress in fast bowlers, shoulder and rotator cuff issues, and the niggles that build up across a long season. Many cricket problems are load problems, not single moments.

How treatment works. I assess the injury and the workload behind it, settle the irritable phase, then build the specific capacity your role demands, whether that is bowling spells, throwing or repeated sprints between wickets. I have spent years in professional and international cricket, so the return plan is built around the real demands of the game, not a generic timeline.

What to expect
A diagnosis, a workload-aware plan, and clear criteria before you bowl or bat at full tilt again.
Who it suits
Club and social cricketers, juniors stepping up, and players managing a recurring problem.

Gym and lifting injuries

Common problems. Shoulders, lower backs and knees that flare under load, often from technique, programming or a sudden jump in volume.

How treatment works. We look at the movement, not just the sore spot. We modify load so you keep training, fix the driver and progress you back to full lifts.

What to expect
The goal is rarely complete rest. We modify training so you keep moving while the injury settles and capacity improves.
Who it suits
Gym-goers and lifters who do not want to simply stop and rest.

Running injuries

Common problems. Shin, knee, calf, Achilles and hip pain, usually linked to training load, capacity or mechanics.

How treatment works. We assess your running capacity and history, manage load sensibly and build the tissue tolerance running demands.

What to expect
A return-to-running plan with weekly targets.
Who it suits
Runners from first 5k to marathon.

Strength-based rehab

Common problems. Persistent or recurring problems that have not responded to passive treatment or rest alone.

How treatment works. Structured, progressive loading using the gym next door. We measure, progress and re-test rather than guess.

Return to sport

Common problems. The gap between feeling better and being ready to compete, where many re-injuries happen.

How treatment works. We use objective criteria, not just time, to decide when you are ready.

Physio for active adults

Common problems. The aches, niggles and setbacks that come with staying active through a busy life.

How treatment works. Practical assessment, a plan that fits your week, and education so you understand what to do next.
