Sports and everyday injuries
Sports and everyday injury physio in Richmond
Pain does not need a sporting story. A sore back after work, a knee limiting your walks or a shoulder keeping you awake deserves a proper assessment.
At Bridge Road Physiotherapy, you see me, Thihan Chandramohan, at every appointment. We work through what happened, what affects your symptoms and what you need to get back to. You leave with an explanation and a first step you understand.
What brings people in
Back and neck pain, shoulder and knee problems, ankle injuries, muscle strains and tendon pain. Some start suddenly. Others build while you work, exercise or go about your day.
You do not need to be an athlete. Your goal might be returning to football or getting through the working week more comfortably.

What happens at your first visit
Your initial appointment is 45 minutes. We discuss your symptoms and goals, then assess the relevant movement, strength and function. I explain the findings, including any uncertainty, and we agree on the next steps.
Treatment starts where appropriate. Your plan might include exercise, hands-on care, changes to activity or further investigation. The assessment guides the choice.
Getting back to your routine
The plan needs to fit your life. We agree what to continue, what to change and how to progress. At review appointments, we check your response and adjust the plan.
